William T. O’Leary passed away peacefully at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 15, 2013. “Billy” was born on August 23, 1943 in Brookline, MA. He spent most of his life living in Marshfield, MA where he summered with his family as a child. He worked at the local supermarket in Marshfield for more than 30 years beginning when it was known as Curtis Farms. He was forever grateful to the Curtis family for offering him employment. In 2010 Billy moved to Fairview- Oddfellows Home in Groton, CT to be closer to his sister. Billy will be dearly missed by his sister Susan Terkanian and her husband Donald of Pawcatuck, CT, his sister Kathleen Longmire of Newark, DE, his niece, Jennifer Massengale and her husband A.J. of Mystic, CT, his nephew LCDR Donald Terkanian, USCG and his wife Amanda of Suffolk, VA, his niece Kellie Hubis and her husband Mark of Hockessin, DE and his nephew Dr. James Longmire and his wife Connie of San Jose, CA. He also leaves 5 grand-nephews and 1 grand-niece. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Catholic Church in Marshfield, MA.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA.
Interment will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
