Edward T. O'Brien Sr., 75 of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, July 26, 2004 in his home. Mr. O'Brien was born in Lowell, MA on August 10, 1928, a son of the late John and Mary (Molloy) O'Brien. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1980, formerly living in Wolfeboro and Lowell. He was a US Air Force veteran and reservist. He had been employed as an account executive for Hallsmith-Sysco in Norton, MA for many years. He was formerly employed by Associated Grocers and Monarch Foods. He was a member of the Air Force Association, the SAC Museum Organization and the Air Force Memorial. He was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Londonderry.
He is survived by one son, Edward T. O'Brien Jr. and his wife Bozena of Campton, NH, two daughters, Ann Schneiderheinze and her husband Robert of Bedford, NH, Patricia Downing and her husband James of Londonderry, four grandchildren, his twin brother, Thomas E. O'Brien of Franconia, NH. He was predeceased by his wife Winifred J. (Murphy) O'Brien in 1990 and his son, Kevin O'Brien in 1977.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 29th at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Tewksbury, MA. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkland Medical Center Nursing Memorial Scholarship Fund, 1 Parkland Dr., Derry, NH 03038 in memory of Winifred O'Brien, or to the St. Jude Parish Building Fund, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053.
