NASHUA, NH - Helen (Coccia) Ogden, age 85, died peacefully on Friday, March 15, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Rudolph W. Ogden Sr., with whom she had celebrated a 64th wedding anniversary this past August.
She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Chester and Alice Coccia. She was raised in Everett and graduated from the Everett High School. She and her husband lived on Regis Road in Tewksbury, where they raised their family. The family was a communicant of St. William’s Parish while residing in Tewksbury. They retired to Nashua, NH in 1989.
She devoted her life to her family, and was overjoyed with the birth of her great grandchildren, who became the focus of her twilight years.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rudolph W. Ogden Jr, and his wife Patsy (Fletcher) Ogden of Nashua; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy M. Harrington and her husband Larry of Wilmington; four loving grandchildren, Dr. Cheryl Ogden, DMD, and Rudolph W. Ogden III both of Hooksett, NH, Caitlin Harrington and Larry Harrington Jr., both of Wilmington; three adored great grandchildren, Laura, Rudolph IV, and Jonathan; and several nieces and nephews..
She was predeceased by her son, John S. Ogden, who died in 2011.
