SPENCER: Ronald J. Aucoin 68, of 242 Main St., Spencer died suddenly, Friday, March 15 after being stricken ill.
He leaves his best friend and companion Ron Carlson of Spencer with whom he lived, his sister Suzanne M. Hanson and her husband Robert of Spencer, nephews; Kristian P. Hanson of Paxton, Nels A. Hanson of Waterford, Ct., and Matthew R. Hanson of Bellingham, a niece Amy E. Brower of Auburn, grand nephews; Aidan, Noah, Jake, Tristan and Corey and a grand niece, Kaylee.
Ron was a supervisor at Millbrook Distributors in Leicester for the past 40 years. He was born in Worcester, the son of Lionel and Irene (Collette) Aucoin. He later graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer Class of 1962, Worcester Junior College in 1964 and later attended Worcester State College.
Ron was a New England Patriots, and college basketball fan. He enjoyed the ocean and walking on the beach.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 20 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the Mass on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to either the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O.
