Obituary

SPRINGFIELD – Scott M. Rogers, 52, of the North End section of Springfield was Called Safely Home on Friday, March 15, 2013. He was born in Westfield on November 10, 1960, a beloved son of the late Frederick F. and Janet I. (Pendlebury) Rogers. He was raised in Russell and Woronoco and moved to Springfield around 1972. He worked at the former State Line Potato Chip Company in Wilbraham and later was employed at Fettes Wine and Spirits in East Springfield and had last been a paper delivery person for the Republican Newspaper in Springfield. He was a member of the former United Methodist Church on Liberty Street in Springfield. He leaves his loving sons, Jason M. Rogers and Brian P. Rogers, both of Chicopee; his dear brother and sisters, Daniel Rogers of Chicopee, Sheila Eisold of Newport, NH and Judith Rogers and her companion, Robert Bessette of Springfield; his dear nephews and nieces; his cherished grandnieces and grandnephew whom he adored, Nella, Latanya and Adrian Torres; and his dear former wife, Barbara J. Nadeau of Palmer. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his dear brother, Shawn Rogers.
