William"Lonzo" Gibbs
William "Lonzo" Gibbs, age 78, of Clarksville, TN passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at his home. He was born February 4, 1935 in Woodlawn, TN son of the late William James Gibbs and Ruth Wills Gibbs. He was also preceded in death by wives, Linda Smith Gibbs and Bonnie Lynne Gibbs; and a brother, Leonard Gibbs.
Survivors include a son, Rudy Gibbs (Donna); two daughters, Tammy Gibbs an Susan Murphy; two brothers, Lester Gibbs and Glenn Gibbs; four sisters, Mildred Greene, Susan Freeman, Lillian McCord, and Marion Duncan; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Lonzo was owner of Rudy's Diner. He was a member of The Community Church and Masonic Lodge #89.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 18, 2013 at 1 P.M. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Harold Whitmer officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 P.M. and Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
