Nancy Ann Pacheco, 58, of New Bedford died March 14, 2013 at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Joseph Pacheco.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Edward W. Santos of Fall River and the late Eileen (Boyle) Santos, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church, where she was a former CCD teacher and choir member.
Mrs. Pacheco was formerly employed as a secretary with the New Bedford School Department until her retirement.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High school and Bristol Community College. An avid golfer, she was a member of Little Harbor Golf Club.
Survivors include her husband; her father; two sons, Joseph E. Pacheco and James D. Pacheco, both of New Bedford; a brother, Edward J. Santos of Weymouth; a sister, Debra J. Binning of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephew.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Tuesday, March19th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, March 18th from 4-8 PM.
