Megan L. Unga, 26, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, in UMASS Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband, Daniel E. Warner; her mother Peggy S. Unga; her father Henry W. Unga (predeceased) a sister Kelli Donald-Unga, 2 brothers Joel V. Unga and Aaron W. Unga; a niece Kylee and a nephew Maddux; her grandmother Lucy Unga and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Megan was born in Worcester, graduated from North High School and attended UMASS Lowell, where she studied political science. She worked as a clerk in various stores but would most want to be remembered as a social activist, who cared about the rights of those less fortunate than her. She was a very artistic and creative person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are welcome to attend calling hours at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Sunday, March 17 between 4 and 6 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 67 Chester St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Paxton.
