LEONARD C. “LENNY” FIELD, SR., a lifelong resident of Hull, passed away on Wednesday, March 13th, 2013 at the age of 80. Lenny was employed as a truck driver for the Coca Cola Company for 34 years, retiring in 1992. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was an active member and trustee of St. Nicholas United Methodist Church of Hull, a member of the Hull Lions Club and was a Pop Warner football coach also in Hull. He enjoyed his many trips to Disneyworld with his family.
He was the husband of Esther A. (Kleeves) Field and Father of Leonard C. Field, Jr. and Janet W. Meech both of Rockland. Grandfather of Michael, Francis, III and Kayla Meech, Leonard Field, III and Erin Field. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, March 18th at 11 AM at St. Nicholas United Methodist Church, 130 Spring St., Hull.
Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Saturday from 4-8 PM.
