LONGENBOHN, Mary Louise, 86, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. She retired from Brown and Williamson after over 37 years. She was a member of the Louisville Girls High School Alumni Club. She was a volunteer for over 18 years for Dare to Care and she also volunteered at the old Kosair Crippled Children’s Hospital. “Aunt Mary” was a loving and caring person who enjoyed traveling, playing the stock market and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ethel & Chester Longenbohn; and her sister, Juanita Fisher. She is survived by her nieces, Nancy Brawand (Roger), Cheryl Goddard and Monica Zumstein; great nieces and nephews, Lisa Dawes (Robby), Denise Grimes (Scott), Sherry Lynn Hittle, Mari Kay Dunn-Guffey (Bill), Christopher Fisher (Misty) and Kristy Brawand (Aaron Sutherland); 7 great great nieces and nephews; 4 great great great nieces and nephews; friends, Anna Rose Datillo and Doris Schaney; and her beloved dog, Max. Her service will be 1pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 12 noon – 8pm and Wednesday after 9am until the service.
