Natalie (Sylvester) Arsenault, 75, of New Bedford died March 9, 2013 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of Joseph R. Arsenault.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John Sylvester and Mary (Luiz) Thayer, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Arsenault was a communicant and active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was the recipient of the Marian Medal.
Mrs. Arsenault enjoyed volunteering at local soup kitchens.
Survivors include her husband; her step-father, John Thayer of New Bedford; a son, André Arsenault and his wife Sue of Acushnet; 3 daughters, Katherine Starr and her husband Michael of Fairhaven, Diane Arsenault of Marion and Kristine Arsenault of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Helen DeCosta of Acushnet and Rita DeSouza of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Angela Paiva of Florida, Lindsay Wilkinson and Kevin Wilkinson, both of New Bedford, André J. Arsenault and Jeremy Arsenault, both of Acushnet; 3 great-grandchildren, Eli, Leila and Bria; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, March 13th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, March 12th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Market Ministries, 60 Eighth St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
