Lavada May White, age 94, of Alma, GA passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Bacon County Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. White was born on April 15, 1918, in Axson, GA to the late Julius M and Olier Corbitt May.
Survivors include: seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie White, three sons, William “Billy” White, John Ellis White, Julius “Buddy” White, one daughter, Mary Ola White, two grandchildren, Carey White, Stephen Tanner, and three brothers, J.D. May, Bill May, and Ellis May.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Axson Church of God of Prophesy with Rev. Travis Peavy and Rev. Brit Peavy officiating. Interment followed at Axson Cemetery.
