Manuel J. Rose, age 89 of Swansea, passed away on March 6, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Florence E. (Morro) Rose and the son of the late Manuel G. and Louise (Miguel) Rose. Prior to retiring, Manuel worked in Maintenance for Raytheon.
In addition to his wife of Swansea, he is survived by his brother, Frank J. Rose of Middletown, RI and his sister, Mary Morro of Swansea; 7 nieces, 2 nephews, and several great nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA on MONDAY here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
