WORCESTER-Marie E. (Baptitien) Maneus, 73, of 373 Mill Street, died Tuesday, July 20th in St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness. She leaves her husband of 48 years, Marc V. Maneus, 2 sons, Marc A. Maneus of Miami, FL and Jean Baptiste Maneus of Worcester, 4 daughters, Marie T. Hazard, Jeanne A., wife of Antoine Fevrier, Simonne, wife of Marceau Moreau all of Worcester and Yanite, wife of Robert Cherenfant of Jefferson, a brother, Dessilias Baptitien of Haiti, 14 grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter Bernadette E. Maneus in 1998 and 3 brothers.
She was born in Haiti the daughter of Silencieux and Asefie (Seme) Baptitien and moved to Worcester in January, 1999. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Paul and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.
The funeral is Saturday, July 31st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in the Cathedral of St. Paul, 15 Chatham Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, July 30th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
