Cynthia Lee Arena, 66, of New Bedford, a former resident of Natick, passed away on March 3, 2013. She was the beloved daughter of the late Orazio and Angelina (Macchio) Arena.
Born, raised, and educated in Natick, Cynthia lived in the New Bedford and Fall River area for many years. She was a Boston sports team enthusiast who had a very warm personality. Cynthia will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was the loving sister of Grace Carlin and her husband Gene of Clarksville, NH and Patricia DeShaw and her husband John of Dennis and Bonita Springs, FL. She was the aunt of Gregory Valentini and his children Gina and Christopher, and the late John DeShaw, Jr. Cynthia is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) Natick on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 9:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central St. (Rt. 135) Natick at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at a later date with her parents in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
