Marion – Carolyn L. (Gomes) Vieira, 96, of Marion, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Sippican Long Term Health Care Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of Frank G. Vieira.
She was born in Westport, daughter if the late Joseph and Lena Gomes, and had resided in Dartmouth for most of her life.
She is survived by 4 sons: Ernest Vieira of Dartmouth, Eugene Vieira of Dartmouth, Alvin Vieira of Fairhaven and Gilbert W. Vieira of Great Falls, MO; a daughter: Carolyn L. Robbins of Dartmouth; a sister: Lillian Lyn of Fall River; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Frank G. Vieira, Jr.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
Calling hours Friday 6-8 P.M.
Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
