Janet Howell Gannaway, 51, loving wife and mother, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on on April 2, 1961 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Donovan and Betty Howell of Ardmore, OK. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patty Omo and brother, Donovan Howell.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Janet was an elementary school teacher for Lake Worth ISD.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gannaway; two daughters, Elizabeth Martin (Michael) and Haley Gannaway; grandchild, Brooksley Martin, born hours before Janet passed away; and extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mike Atkins, David Scott, Jim Willard, Jeff Nickerson, Scott Omo, and Tyler Gannaway. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Galloway, Lee Atkins, Brian Scott, and Philip Gannaway.
