Hooksett– Yvette T. Blandina, 83, died March 2, 2013 at Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association Hospice House following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on December 22, 1929 the daughter of Augusta and Rose (Fontaine) L’Heureux.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for Sanders Associates and the Elliot Hospital.
She enjoyed visiting the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery where she would often light a candle for her deceased loved ones or those in need.
She was predeceased by her husband of 21 years, James Blandina on October 16, 1973.
Family members include her daughter Deborah Boisclair and her husband Kenneth of Hooksett, two sons; Danny J. Blandina and his significant other, Susan Neil of New Boston, Michael Blandina of Norwood, MA., nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother; Robert G. L’Heureux of Manchester, and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one brother Roland G. L’Heureux in 1982.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday at 10 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Hooksett. Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
