Andrew S. Hood, age 35 of North Billerica, died suddenly March 3 in his home. He was the son of Ronald Hood of North Billerica and Carol (Martino) Hood of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Born in Melrose, February 12, 1978, Andrew was raised in North Reading and had lived in North Billerica for the past three years.
Mr. Hood was a graduate of North Reading High School.
Mr. Hood had worked at Parent & Associates in North Andover for the past several years.
Andrew was deeply involved in music, especially techno-music. He was a composer and DJ.
He was also the owner of Symmetric Records.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Tara Gurge of Franklin.
He is also survived by his nephews Daniel and Benjamin Gurge and his niece Caroline Gurge.
His funeral service will be held on Friday March 8 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
