WORCESTER-Doris E. (Archambeault) Miner, 76, of 79 Armory Street died Wednesday, July 21st at home after a long illness. Her husband Norman E. Miner died in 1985. She leaves 2 sons, Gary R. and Robert A. Miner with whom she lived, a son-in-law Clement H. "Clem" LeClaire, Jr. of Worcester, 3 daughters, Barbara C. Dean of Oregon, Sandra L. Miner and Linda J. Valentino both of Worcester, a brother Francis Archambeault of Connecticut, 2 sisters Theresa Kozlowski and Claire Cyr both of Connecticut, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. Her daughter Patricia C. LeClaire died in 2000.
She was born in Norwich, Connecticut the daughter of Leonel and Ora (Marcoux) Archambeault. Mrs. Miner was a housekeeper for several Worcester area hotels for many years until retiring in 1989.
The funeral is Saturday, July 24th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, July 23rd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
