HURD JR, LELAND S. “BUD”, 89, of Louisville, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a World War II Navy Veteran and worked for Louisville Gas & Electric for 43 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He never met a stranger and was known for his happy spirit.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Leland Hurd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Geneva and four grandsons, Steven (Stephanie), Sean, Colin, and Hunter (Amanda) Hurd.
His funeral will be 2pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be after 11am Tuesday until the service.
