Obituary

WEBSTER – Virginia M. (Kasierski) White, 87, of Webster died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
She leaves her son, John F. White and his wife Susanne of Webster; 3 granddaughters, Melissa Latour and her husband Paul, Shannon Spitz and her husband George with whom she lived, and Jennifer White and her fiancé Doug McKay; 6 great-grandchildren, Sydney and Sage Latour, Ryan and Victoria Spitz, and Thomas Capano and Cecilia McKay. She also leaves behind two sisters, Esther Ziemski of Jericho, Vermont and Patricia Hylka and her husband Robert of Dudley, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband and love of 62 years, S. Francis White, passed away in 2010.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of John and Mary (Mrzyglod) Kasierski and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1944.
Mrs. White worked for many years as a payroll specialist at Cranston Print Works Company in
Webster before retiring in 1991. She was a member of Saint Louis Church and the St. Louis League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed vacationing with her family, especially taking cruises, collecting sea shells, and boating on Webster Lake. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 6, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to St. Louis School Endowment Fund, 15 Lake Street, Webster, MA 01570.
