Kelly-Furtado, Katherine L. “Kitty” (Daniels) of Quincy, passed away on February 27, 2013, she was 101. The beloved mother of Sandra Bouffard and her husband Arthur of Quincy. Cherished Gram to Susan Kelly and her husband Frank of Quincy, Katherine Buckley and her husband Steve of Whitman, Kimberly Duncan and her husband Gene of Abington, Jeffrey Bouffard and his wife Nina of Hopkinton and Jason Bouffard and his wife Suzanne of Hanson. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren. Kitty is pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Katherine grew up in South Boston and lived there for many years. She loved to visit Castle Island and enjoyed taking trips to Nantucket with her sister and their families. She remained active and independent into her late 90’s. She was well known for her love of animals. She celebrated her 100th birthday with her family in 2011. Kitty will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
