William Joseph Lynch, 71, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Jewish Hospital. He was a retired maintenance machinist who retired after 35 years of service with Philip Morris, a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church and an avid UofK fan. He is survived by his close and long time friends: Ruth Risinger, Tony Vincent, Gerry Isgrigg, Mark Hottel, Ivan Schell, Ron Mahan who he loved and they loved him like a brother and Bobby Van Dyke who he loved like a son; Also, his beloved parrot “Chipper”. His service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Lane. Visitation Friday 4pm to 8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mass of the Air.
