Amy Leith, age 91, passed away on Feb 27, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicopee on November 22, 1921 to the late Stanislaus and Mary (Botrsezewska) Reznik. She was a communicant of the Polish National Catholic Church in Chicopee and was a member of the Woman’s Guild where she enjoyed making pierogis with all her friends. She was an executive secretary for 25 years for the Daniel O’Connell Co. in Holyoke and also worked for 15 years at the 2nd Baptist Church in Granby. She enjoyed bowling and craft making. She leaves two loving daughters Bonnie and Doug Hill of West Springfield and Cathy and Mark Jachym of Waxhaw, NC. She leaves 4 grandchildren Laurie Jachym, Greg Jachym and his wife Becky and Lauren and Stephanie Hill. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 8:00 AM from the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee with a Funeral Mass to take place at 9:00 AM at the Polish National Catholic Church on Bell St in Chicopee followed by Burial in Holy Mother of the Rosary Cemetery in Chicopee. Visiting Hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, Mar 1, 2013 at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Soupy for Loopy Foundation, Inc.
