Ruth B. (Nyman) Kay, age 91, of Lawrence, MA, died Thursday at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, Lawrence, MA.
She was born and raised in Medford, MA. She was a resident of Lawrence for the past 10 years, formerly of Methuen, MA. Ruth was a homemaker. She was a long time volunteer at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Kay Sr. and her daughter, Patricia Gray.
She is survived by her sons, John Kay, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Salem, NH and Thomas E. Kay and Gray Gilfillan of Shady Side, MD; sister, Jean Alpers of Georgia; and grandson, Justin Gray of San Francisco, CA.
Graveside services will be held in the spring. There are no calling hours.
