Lanny C. Lavell, age 61 of Clarksville, TN, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born on November 8, 1951 in Detroit, MI to the late Richard C. Lavell and Margaret Bryant Lavell. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Lavell and sister, Bonnie Thomas.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 12 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Lanny was A Operator at the Zinc Plant. He was also a volunteer fireman with East Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda McCoy Lavell of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Laura Bowen (Bubba) and Lisa Lavell of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Danny Lavell, Cullom Lavell and Keith Lavell; and seven grandchildren.
