Raymond Arthur Roberge, age 88 of Clarksville, TN, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born on April 9, 1924 in Lawrence, MA to the late Joseph Antoine "Peter" Roberge and Dorilda Deblois Roberge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Roberge son, Gary Roberge; daughter, Dorilda Roberge; two brothers, Robert Roberge and David Roberge; and three sisters, Lucille Defelippi, Eva Bernier, and Diana Damon.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 1 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Tom Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, March 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Raymond was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam Conflict and the Korean War. He was retired from Trane Company. He was a member of the New Providence Church of Christ, VFW Post 1913 and the American Legion.
He is survived by his special friend, Fran Morgan of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Tim (Donna) Roberge of Dover, TN and Raymond (Lawnie) Roberge, Jr. of Stow, MA; step-son, James Fleming of Hopkinsville, KY; step-daughter, Barbara (Don) Ritter of Central Point, OR; two brothers, Tony Roberge of Las Vegas and Ralph Roberge of Bristol, CT; and seven grandchildren, Jason Roberge, Mike Roberge of Stow, MA, Kyle (Heather) Roberge of Tehachapi, CA, Chelsea Roberge of Texas, Zack Roberge, Mallory Roberge and Austin Roberge of Dover, TN.
