Thelma Stanley Haley, 82, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Signature Healthcare of Erin. She was born on January 9, 1931 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Lewis Stanley and Alberta Warren Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Haley, Jr.; brother, Billy Stanley; and sister, Margaret Bellar.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Thelma retired from Acme Boot Company. She was a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny Haley (Tracy) of Palmyra, TN and Jimmy Haley of Nashville, TN; daughter, Judy Chattin (Mike Williams) of Clarksville, TN; brother, Herbert Stanley (Francis) of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Katherine Evans of Texas, Juanita Stanley of Clarksville, TN, and Patsy Trumbo of Nashville, TN; and granddaughter, Courtney Haley of Clarksville, TN.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Parker, Stan Bagwell, David Shepard, Dustin Barnes, Kyle Barnes, Scott Bagwell, and Mike Dowdy.
