Lawrence E. Hayden, age 87 of Tiverton passed away February 22, 2013. Born in Fall River, he was the husband of Theresa Hayden and the son of the late William and Bertha (Blake) Hayden. Lawrence was an insurance adjuster for 30 years at G.A.B. Co., owner of Hill Top Christmas Tree Farm, a golfer, a US Army Veteran of WW II and a parishioner of St. Theresa’s/St. Christopher’s Church.
Lawrence was the father of Kathleen Bouchard (husband Robert) of Lakeville, Timothy Hayden (wife Barbara) of Seekonk, and Christopher Hayden (wife Jane Tamlyn-Hayden) of North Reading. He was the Brother of Patricia Elie (husband Edward) of Elijay, GA, Maureen Pieri (husband Louis) of Little Compton RI, and the late Mary Elizabeth Rice, William Hayden, Bertha F. Hayden, James Blake Hayden, and Brenden Hayden. Lawrence also leaves 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River THURSDAY at 8:45AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa’s Church in Tiverton at 10:00 A.M. Calling hours WEDNESDAY from 4-8 P.M.
