David Paul Raabe, 31, of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 22, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 3, 1981 in Mineola, NY, the son of Russel and Susan (Shahabian) Raabe. David was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 2000. He worked for Best Buy in Manchester for over 13 years as a Home Theater Representative and was also a rep for Nutro Dog Food. He enjoyed volunteering for many of the Best Buy sponsored activities. David was a lover of animals and he participated in many Pet Walks and numerous other charitable events. He was very health conscious and enjoyed going to the gym.
He is survived by his parents Russel and Susan Raabe of Derry, one sister, Suzanne Raabe of Westford, MA, his aunts and uncles, David and Carol Raabe and their children of Albany NY and Kenneth and Sherry Shahabian and their children of Farmingdale, NY, as well as his beloved dog Bailey.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday February 26, 2013 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held on Wednesday February 27th at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
