WEBSTER – Richard P. “Dick K.” Kochanowski, 61, of 8 Eddy Street, died Sunday, July 18, in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 23 years, Sandra J. (Gorak) Kochanowski; a son, Richard S. Kochanowski of Mesa, AZ; 2 daughters, Cindy S. Kochanowski of Burnham, Maine, and Donna M. Watrous of Pittsfield, Maine; 3 stepchildren, Kelly Collins, Jody Oliver, and Kurt Adams, all of West Brookfield; a brother, David Kochanowski of Webster; a sister, Linda Prout of Dudley; 11 grandchildren and one great grandson; nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved dog, Mr. Buddy Weiser.
He was born and raised in Webster, son of the late Chester and Loretta (Cloutier) Kochanowski,and was a lifelong resident. He attended Bartlett High School.
Mr. Kochanowski was a truck driver at several area companies, including Recycle Enterprise of Oxford. He retired in 1999.
The funeral will be held Saturday, July 24, at 2:00 PM in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Calling hours are from 12:00 noon to the time of the service.
