Dennis M. Whitmore, 58, of Hampstead, NH passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Exeter Hospital, Exeter, NH. He was born on April 17, 1954 in East Derry, NH a son of the late George and Eleanor (Clark) Whitmore. Dennis worked as a chemist for many years for Greater Lawrence Sanitary District. He also taught chemistry at Northern Essex Community College. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his friends. The family would like to thank Dennis’s caregiver Cindy for all her help.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Whitmore and her partner, Keith Zaikowski of Derry, two granddaughters, Keira Zaikowski and Mariah Zaikowski, one sister, Sandra Piasecki and her husband Michael of Hampstead, one brother, David Whitmore and his wife Shelley of Hampstead, many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hampstead Rescue Squad, 17 Littles Lane, Hampstead, NH 03841. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
