Jerry Elisha Nipper, age 66, of Hahira, GA passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Nipper was born on February 1, 1947, in Douglas, GA to the late Elisha and Rachael Burch Nipper. Mr. Nipper served his country in the US Air Force in Vietnam, he also, retired from the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad.
Survivors include: brother, Raymond (Jo Ann) Nipper, of Douglas, GA, sister, Evelyn Harrell, of Hahira, GA, two nephews, Ray Nipper, of Tifton, GA and Charles Harrell, of Hahira, GA, and niece, Linda Miller, of Valdosta, GA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 6-9 pm.
Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Illa Baptist Church Cemetery near Douglas with Rev. James Carlton Burch officiating. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
