Carmen A. Orlando, 98, of Abington, PA passed away February 23, 2013 at Abington Hospice at Warminster, PA.
Born in Lawrence, MA to the late Alexander and Angelina (Nee DaDucci) Orlando, he was a longtime resident of Methuen, MA before moving to Abington, PA 10 years ago to live with his daughter.
Mr. Orlando was a longtime carpenter specializing in detailed finish carpentry work. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies.
He is the husband of the late Margaret (Nee Paolino) Orlando and loving father of Kathleen M. Keen and son in law, Stuart Keen. He is the grandfather of Todd DeCato of VA and Leah Murphy of Doylestown, PA and the great grandfather of Cara, Niamh and Reghan Murphy. He is also survived by a brother, Angelo Orlando and a sister, Josephine McNulty and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM and on Friday from 9 to 10 AM at the KENNETH H. POLLARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Following visiting hours Friday morning, interment will take place at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
