Patricia M. (Ryan) Repucci, age 95, of Mansfield, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 22, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Gelino G. Repucci.
Born in Bangor, Michigan on February 19, 1918, she was a daughter of the late James P. and Zella (Harvey) Ryan,
Pat grew up and was educated in California. She graduated from high school in Long Beach and furthered her education to become a graduate of the Dominican College in California, and later received her certificate in social work at UC Berkley.
A dedicated homemaker to her loving family, Mrs. Repucci had also formerly worked as a social worker in Los Angeles County.
Pat had made her home in Mansfield for the past 67 years. She was an active communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield where she was a member of the New Century Club and a former member of the Catholic Women’s Club.
Mrs. Repucci was also a member of the DAR in Mansfield and the Mayflower Society. She loved spending time with family and friends and her other hobbies included knitting, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her devoted children, James R. Repucci of Youngstown, Ohio, Joseph S. Repucci of Tarentum, Pennsylvania, Angela M. Caldwell of Norton, Peter J. Repucci of Sunnyvale, California, Paul T. Repucci of Tucson, Arizona and Eileen J. Miller of Smithfield, Rhode Island. The dear sister of the late Richard E. Ryan and Eileen C. Cooper, she is also survived by her cherished 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Entombment will be held at a later date.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 1st from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flower’s, Patricia’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School, 330 Pratt St., Mansfield, MA 02048.
