Mark C. Yeadon, 64, of Putnam Pike, Chepachet, died Wednesday surrounded by his family in the Hospice Intake Center, Providence.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles S. and Ruth V. (Bassett) Yeadon. He had lived in Chepachet for 5 years and lived in Glocester for 30 years.
He was a Mechanic and Heavy Equipment Operator for the Providence Gas Company for 39 years retiring in 2009. He had served the Country in the US Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 0080, United /steel Workers and the NRA.
Mark was an avid hunter and he loved to fish in Island Pond, Vermont. He loved to play horseshoes, cook chili and make egg nog. He was a great father, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves his sons, Christopher Yeadon, of Demorest, Ga, Dean Yeandon and his wife Ella of Dayville, CT, his grandchildren, Tyler, Rhett, Eva and Anderson, his siblings, Gary Yeadon of Malvern, PA, Wayne Yeadon of Glocester, Charles "Chuck" Yeadon and Beth Perez both of Cranston, Matthew Yeadon of Warwick.He was the former husband of Charlene Yeadon.
Vistation Monday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
