Lorraine M. Lavigne, 84, of Manchester, died February 20, 2013 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, May 19, 1928 the daughter of Edouard and Lucienne (Harris) Raiche. She had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She had worked for Modutec for many years.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Catherine Church where she sang in the choir and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a foster grandparent at Easter Seals.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Robert A. Lavigne in 1991, a grandson, Jason S. Lavigne in 2008 and a brother, Marcel Raiche in 2002.
She leaves three children, Butch Lavigne and his wife Angela, of Manchester, Norma Biron and her husband John, of Goffstown and Marie Lavigne of Arlington, TX; two grandsons, Jamie Lavigne of Manchester and Benjamin Biron of Kentucky; four great grandchildren; a brother, Atty. Robert E. Raiche and his wife Mary of Manchester; a sister, Paulette Auger and her husband Donald of Manchester; nieces and nephews and a very close family friend, Monica Thomas-Bonnick of Arlington, TX
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Catherine Church.
