Freedman, Sarah, 99 of Andover passed away on February 21, 2013. Sarah was born in New York, NY and was a former resident of Revere and Medford. She attended the Chelsea Schools. Sarah was a member of Temple Shalom of Medford and a member of Temple Shalom’s Sisterhood.
Sarah was the beloved wife of the late Archie Freedman. She was the devoted mother of Irma Rae Cohen and Judith Freedman. She was the loving daughter of the late Abraham and the late Fannie Hurvitz. She was the dear sister of the late Ethel Pollock and the late Hyman Hurvitz. Sarah was the loving grandmother of Jayne Cohen, David Cohen, Michele Morgan and Debra Soreff. Sarah is also survived by her great grandchildren Shelby, Jordan, Jacob, Sophie, Rebekah, Isabella and Ryan. “Auntie Sarah” will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton St. Sharon, MA on Monday, February 25 at 12:45 PM. Memorial observance will be held at the home of David Cohen immediately following the interment until 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
