Dear sister of Stella McDonald of Westboro, Genevieve Konieczka of Chelsea and the late Walter Bryk. Cherished grandmother of Theresa Murphy and her fiance James Donahue of Wakefield, Maryann Martin and her husband Roland of Marietta, Georgia, Stephanie Sylvain and her husband Jayson of Stoughton and Joanna Zajac of Saugus. Also lovingly survived by her great granddaughter Kareana Sylvain as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday morning, July 21st at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, CHELSEA at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.Born in Buffalo, New York, Josephine, 86 years old, spent most of her life in Chelsea. She passed away Sunday afternoon at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from complications that arose following hip surgery, an injury she sustained in her back yard about a month ago. For a number of years, she was employed by the Marston Corporation and was the propietor of Josephine's Variety Store on Bloomingdale Street. She was a former member of the Chelsea Senior Citizens Club.
