Holden - Nancy A. (Stone) Lamothe, 71, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus. She leaves two sons, Richard N. Lamothe of Rutland and Blake E. Lamothe of Palmer; two daughters, Heidi A. Herlihy of Hanson and Lisa N. Webb of Spencer; a sister, Elaine L. Blitch of FL; and nine grandchildren: Ricky, Christopher, Scarlet, Linea, Daniel, Hannah, Sarah, Shantelle, and Jacob.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ruth A. (Hedberg) and Lester E. Stone. She was a graduate of North High, member of Salem Covenant Church, and a CNA at the Odd Fellows Home. Among the things she enjoyed were cooking, knitting, and going to the beach with her kids.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 25, in the Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held at 11 a.m. followed by the funeral at 12 noon. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.BCRFCure.org
