New Bedford – Leo Mello, 89, of New Bedford, died Saturday July 17, 2004, at Blaire House. He was the Husband of the late Mary (Gawron) Mello. Mr. Mello was the father of Barbara Miguel of Sun Lakes Arizona Jane Perry of No. Dartmouth and Leona Braley of E.Freetown. He was the Grandfather of Susan Miguel, Sandra Manning, David Miguel, Thomas Perry, Kimberly LeBeau, Kristine Cardinal and Michael Brailey. And He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren
Mr, Mello was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He was the son of the late Anthony and Florinda ( Simas) Mello
Mr. Mello was the former Owner and Proprietor of Mello’s Auto Service.
His funeral will be Wednesday, July 21, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. at St. James Church, County St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours are Tuesday, July 20, 2004 from – 5 to 8 P.M. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery.
