HAVERHILL: Renee R. (Boyer) Greenwood, 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in the Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Greenwood who died in 1997.
Born in Worcester on March 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche (Rondeau) Boyer.
She is survived by her brother, James Boyer and his wife, Jane of Estes Park, CO; three sisters, Claire Krzyzewski of Kingston, MA, Jeanne DeFosse of Worcester and Sister Annette Boyer, Sisters of Saint Anne of Marlboro and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Eugene, Paul and Edward Boyer.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice. Interment will be privately held in Elmwood Cemetery.
