Estes, Roy Roger, 88, of Louisville passed away Tuesday February 19, 2013 at the Sts Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
Roy was a native of Cave City, KY. a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had retired as a press operator for Reynolds Aluminum Company and was a member of Shively Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maydel (Pedigo) Estes; two brothers, William Estes & Elmer Estes Jr..
Survivors include his two children, Sherry Cummings (Jay) and Roger Estes (Kim); two grandsons, Josh (Chera) & Adam (Jenelle); two great grandsons, Cooper & Jackson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday & after 12:00 noon Friday.
