Obituary

Herve LaLiberty, formerly of Methuen, passed away on Tuesday at Amesbury Village Nursing and Rehab in Amesbury, where he received excellent care by the facility’s staff and Brook Haven Hospice this past year. Harvey was born and educated in Lawrence and later served in the US Navy during World War II. After the war, he returned home and worked in the food service industry. He was most proud of his employment at Beas Sandwich Shop, a family owned business in Lawrence. He spent his later years helping his children raise his grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. He was a loving and generous man, always supportive of his family.
He was the son of the late Helene (Desrocher) and Charles LaLiberty and the husband of the late Virginia (Siudut) LaLiberty. He is survived by his three daughters; Sandra Oliveira formerly Sarcione and her husband John of Salisbury, Donna Leone of Manchester, NH, and Deborah Bilodeau of Salem, NH, his sisters Anita Gugliuzza of Lawrence and Doris Bernadine of Methuen, his brother Rene LaLiberty of Florida, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
