HAVERHILL: Sarah E. “Sally” (Joudrey) Jojokian, 86, died peacefully Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Penacook Place in Haverhill. She was the wife of the late George Jojokian who died in January 2001.
Born in Amesbury on June 19, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Susan (Ingalls) Joudrey and was a graduate of Amesbury High School. Sally had resided in Haverhill for many years before moving to Hampton Falls, NH for several years and returning to Haverhill in 2005 to reside at Penacook Place, where she received excellent care during her time spent there.
She is survived by her two sons, Glenn P. Jojokian and Larry D. Jojokian and his wife, Tracy all of Haverhill; her daughter Jean C. Jojokian of Haverhill; four grandchildren, Jessica Jojokian of Haverhill, Christopher Jojokian of Kingston, NH, Cassie Jojokian of Newton, NH and Michael Jojokian of Haverhill; three great-grandchildren, Eli Rogers, Christopher Jojokian and Angelisse Estrada and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 – 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Penacook Place, “Memory Care Unit” 150 Water St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Interment will be held in the Linwood Cemetery.
