Lucille R. (Bellenoit) Tremblay, 95, of New Bedford died Monday February 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Tremblay.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George E. and Clementine (Pruneau) Bellenoit, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of the former Sacred Heart Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and the Union of Prayer.
Mrs. Tremblay was formerly employed as a dietary aide at Sacred Heart Home until her retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Harold N. Tremblay and his wife Theresa of St. Paul, MN, and Pierre C. Tremblay and his wife Denise of New Bedford; three grandchildren, Jeremy Tremblay, Stephanie Tremblay, and Amanda Smith; three great-grandchhildren, Kylie, Logan, and Riley; and a nephew, Rev. George C. Bellenoit.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Melissa Lorenz, her great-granddaughters, Angela and Desiree, and her siblings, Jeanne Pauline Bellenoit, Omer Bellenoit, Francoise Ohrn, and Simonne Smith.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Sacred Heart Home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
