Mrs. Antoinetta Graffeo, "Antie" age 94 of Medford died Sunday Feb. 17, in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She is the wife of the late Michael H. Graffeo. Mrs. Graffeo was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Accursio and Josephine (Laura) Taromino. Her early years were spent in Boston's North End where she attended St. John's School. She has been a Medford resident since 1943. Mrs. Graffeo was considered and exceptional cook and her baked goods are legendary. She loved spending time with her family in their winter home in Stuart FL. Nothing gave her more satisfaction then spending time at family get togethers and functions with her children, grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Ann Graffeo of Medford,2 sons Anthony Graffeo and his wife Bernadette of Medford, Gus Graffeo and his wife Mary of Billerica.Loving grandmother of Michael, Thomas and Gus Graffeo, Maya Maggiore; Catherine Rollins,and Michele Diggs. Great Grandmother of Camille and Mia Graffeo, Giovanni Maggiore; Stephanie and Nicolle Ramsey, Shaylin and Micaila Diggs .Great Great Grandmother of Jennifer Johnson. Dear sister of the late Late Peter, Sam, Jimmy, Frank, Joe and Tony Taromino, Mary DiPrizio and Jennie Cognata. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8:45 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9:45 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 through 8 Pm..Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
