Laurette J. Lamarre 83, formerly of Dulude Ave. died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at The Ballou Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Normand L. Lamarre, with whom she was married for sixty three years. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Jeannette (Laplume) LeBlanc. Mrs. Lamarre worked for Swank Jewelry in Attleboro, MA for thirty two years before retiring in 1991.
She is survived by three sons, Normand A. Lamarre of Burrillville, Robert R. Lamarre of Woonsocket, and Leo E. Lamarre of Griswold, CT, two daughters, Lucille Theroux and Pauline Lacasse both of Woonsocket, a sister Therese Gagne, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Raymond E. Lamarre and sister of the late Alphonse LeBlanc and Alice Chevrette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Calling hours are omitted and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
