Obituary

Susan (Troy) Ledoux age 68 of East Bridgewater formerly of Brockton died Sunday February 17, 2013 after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She was the devoted and loving wife of Reinald G. Ledoux for 40 years. Sue was born and raised in Brighton a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Hann) Troy and had been a resident of Brockton for many years before moving to East Bridgewater in 2008. A graduate of St. Columbkille High School in Brighton, Sue had been a secretary at Sacred Heart and Trinity Catholic Schools in Brockton.
Sue was a woman of strong faith and volunteered much of her time to the Catholic Church. She was a longtime faculty member of the marriage preparation program at Miramar in Duxbury and was an associate member of the Sisters of the Assumption, ASV. Most importantly, she was devoted to her home and family and cherished her time spent with them. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and most of all cruising.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her four children Reinald G. “Ray” Ledoux, Tina Barnhart, Erin Barr and Matthew Ledoux and six grandchildren. She was the sister of Edward, William and Thomas Troy, Virginia Giannelli and Katherine Glynn. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 5-8 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9 am for a Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, West Bridgewater at 10 am. Burial will be at a later date.
